Download: PLS-5 Test Review – LEADERS PDF
Two recent graduates of the Teachers College Columbia University speech-language pathology program, supervised by Cate Crowley, created and presented this poster at the ASHA convention in Chicago, 2013. The work was initially done as part of Cate’s Assessment and Evaluation class at Teachers College. This is part of a set of posters discussing issues related to using the PLS-5 in assessment and evaluation of language impairment in children. This poster highlights concerns regarding construct validity within the PLS-5. The reference standard, sensitivity and specificity, likelihood ratios and other psychometric properties were examined.
